Acupuncture Resources

Acupuncture Specialists Directory
For a national directory of practitioners and useful articles on acupuncture.
Acupuncture Today
This site keeps an archive of research on acupuncture and answers to frequently asked questions about treatment.
Missouri Acupuncture
Members of the Acupuncture Association of Missouri are listed on this site providing contact information for practitioners throughout the state.
National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
To locate a licensed acupuncturist near you, refer to this national directory of Diplomates of Acupuncture, the standard for licensure in most states. If an acupuncturist is certified, they may have only 100 hours of training, so be sure to locate a licensed acupucnturist and be assured that your practitioner has master's degree-level training.
Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts
This is the site for my alma mater, formerly called the Traditinal Acupunctrue Institute, recently renamed Tai Sophia. I highly recommend practitioners who graduated from my school as I can attest to the quality of their education.
Alley Cat Yoga
I teach yoga at alleyCat Yoga studio in downtown Columbia, Missouri. Yoga offers a valuable set of practices for supporting your health. See the website for a schedule that includes 15 classes weekly and many informative workshops.
